Seaqaqa Police Probe Damaged Property And Assault

Police are investigating a report where a group of youths allegedly caused a nuisance during a wedding reception which led to an assault of three people.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said the alleged incident happened at Seaqaqa, Macuata on Saturday night.

“A 38-year-old man of Natua, Seaqaqa reported that he was assaulted by a group of youths from Buavou,” Ms Naisoro said.

“He was attending a wedding when he allegedly saw some youths throwing stones, which were hitting the roof of their shed.”
