UN Resident Co-Ordinator Makes Courtesy Call To PM

The United Nations (UN) and Fiji Government will work together to promote a pros­perous economy, at the same time, ensure that people’s voices are heard at every stage of an inclusive national development.

The United Nations (UN) and Fiji Government will work together to promote a pros­perous economy, at the same time, ensure that people’s voices are heard at every stage of an inclusive national development.

This was reiterated last Friday during an introductory call to the Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sitiveni Rabuka from the UN Resident co-ordinator to Fiji, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tu­valu and Vanuatu, Sanaka Samaras­inha.

Mr Rabuka said Fiji highly appre­ciated the UN’s important role in advancing multilateralism, as the collective response to address glob­al challenges.
