Permanent Secretary for Education, Dr Anjeela Jokhan has tendered her resignation.
Dr Jokhan handed in her resignation to the Chair of the Public Service Commission, Luke Rokovada effective yesterday.
This was confirmed by the Chair of PSC, Mr Rokovada.
“The new Government has decided that it wishes to appoint PS’s whom they will feel more comfortable to work with; I respect that and wish them the best,” Dr Jokhan said.
