Changes In Police Senior Posts
According to the Acting Commissioner, Mr Nair was nearing the end of his contract and had to take his pending leave.

A number of changes have been made to senior positions within the Fiji Police Force.
Announcing the changes yesterday, Acting Commissioner of Police, Juki Fong Chew, said Deputy Commissioner Itendra Nair has been placed on leave and his replacement would be announced soon.
According to the Acting Commissioner, Mr Nair was nearing the end of his contract and had to take his pending leave.
Senior Superintendent of Police Sakeo Raikaci has taken over from Acting Assistant Commissioner of Police Surend Sami as Chief of Intelligence, Investigations and Prosecutions. ACP Sami’s contract has ceased.
