There is currently no suitable land to build a stadium for the people of Naitasiri.
Villagers of Sawanikula in Naitasiri were told of the news from Government during a talanoa session with Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka, yesterday.
A 10 acre land is needed by Government to fulfil this request by the people from the province, said Filipe Bainimoli, a senior project planning officer in the Office of the Prime Minister.
He told the villagers that numerous studies had been conducted, but none was enough to warrant infrastructure work to begin.
