USP Foundation Studies: TELS Muck Up

Three hopeful University of the South Pacific (USP) foundation students were left disappointed yesterday after being informed that the Tertiary Education Loans Scheme (TELS) does not cover foundation studies.
The students were told through the Tertiary Scholarship and Loans Service (TSLS) Office.
The confusion comes on the back of a nationwide announcement by the Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka on January 18, that the scheme would be extended to foundation students.
