Former FijiFirst MP Vijendra Prakash To Be Sentenced Today

Prakash was charged by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) with one count each of giving false information to a public servant and obtaining financial advantage.

Former FijiFirst Member of Parliament, Vijendra Prakash, will be sentenced by the Anti-Corruption High Court in Suva this morning.

Prakash was found guilty for obtaining $33,670 of public money after eight weeks of trial last year.

Prakash was charged by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption (FICAC) with one count each of giving false information to a public servant and obtaining financial advantage.
