There is no major infrastructural damage identified after the flash floods in Labasa and nearby areas last week.
Commissioner Northern Uraia Rainima said a team from the Fiji Roads Authority (FRA) was deployed on Saturday morning to assess bridges and crossings that were under floodwaters last Friday.
Mr Rainima said they received some reports from members of the public to have some bridges and crossings checked because of the possibility of being washed away or damaged.
