Shivali Shirani Mala was excited as she began the school year at Swami Vivekananda College (SVC) in Nadi yesterday.
The 14-year-old was the top scorer for the Fiji Year 8 Examination when she attended Nadi Sangam Primary School last year
She scored 470 marks out of 500.
As deputy head girl, she was also recognised as the Student of the Year in 2022.
