Investigation is currently underway into an alleged oil spill that occurred at Narain Jetty, Walu Bay, Suva yesterday.
Fiji Ports Corporation Limited (FPCL), Chief Executive Officer, Vajira Piyasena confirmed that requests have been made to relevant authorities for a thorough investigation.
“We have already informed the Maritime Safety Authority of Fiji (MSAF), we have informed the Department of Environment, we have informed the Water Police,” Mr Piyasena said.
