USA Invests Over $1.097 Billion In The Pacific
The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has invested more than US$508 million (FJ$1097 billion) in Pacific Island countries, including local organisations to achieve shared development goals.

The United States Agency for International Development (USAID) has invested more than US$508 million (FJ$1.097 billion) in Pacific Island countries, including local organizations to achieve shared development goals.
In response to the coronavirus alone, USAID had provided more than US$57 million (FJ$122m) to help the region and manage the negative impacts.
Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Lynda Tabuya said through the partnership, the region was taking hold of their future and addressing the development challenges they faced through innovative and creative ways.
