AG Defends NEC Workers Turned Away At Airport, Points At System

The Attorney-General (A-G) Siromi Turaga says if there is a need to amend the law, they will do so because it is restricting people from going abroad to earn a good income within six to nine months.

Mr Turaga was responding to the Narewa Village headman, Samu Tuidraki, who asked about issues faced by the National Employment Centre (NEC) under the Ministry of Employment, Productivity and Industrial Relations seasonal workers before they departed the country.
