Kelera Tagivakatini started her handicraft business with just $50 in her pocket, not knowing it would return in many folds.

The business, born at the time when Fiji’s economy was at its worst, is now providing for her family.

She is the owner of Yalo Re Carts and Creations and operates from her Cunningham home in Suva.

Yalo Re is a Vanua Levu dialect which means having a good and caring heart.

The mother-of-one started her business when others were closing down in 2020. She specializes in making polythene earring and tie and dye t-shirts.
