About 150 soldiers from Fiji will soon be deployed for a peacekeeping mission in Syria under the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF).

About 150 soldiers from Fiji will soon be deployed for a peacekeeping mission in Syria under the United Nations Disengagement Observer Force (UNDOF).
At the moment, they are at the Blackrock Camp in Nadi for training.
They will be in Blackrock for a period of three to four weeks, said Republic of Fiji Military Forces Commander, Major-General Ro Jone Kalouniwai.
He said this was part of their rotation plan regarding missions overseas.
