22 Graduate As Guards Of Our Forest

Twenty-two forest harvesting supervisors, who graduated last week from a five-day training workshop in Labasa, have been shouldered the responsibility to be exemplary Fijians in the conservation and sustainability of forests in the country.
They were landowners, sawmill workers on Vanua Levu, and students.
The Forest Harvesting Supervisor Training (module 1), organised by the Ministry of Fisheries and Forestry’s Northern Division office, conducted the training.
Chief guest, the Minister for Fisheries and Forestry, Kalaveti Ravu, congratulated the graduates during their graduation ceremony.
