The High Court in Lautoka has adjourned the case of murder accused Mohammed Aiyaz Ahmed to check on defence lawyer Anishni Chand’s ability to proceed with court proceedings.

This is the case of Mohammed Aiyaz Ahmed, who allegedly murdered his wife Shabina Nisha and whose body was found allegedly covered in blood by a neighbour at her home in Drasa, Lautoka in 2019.

The matter was heard before Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza on Thursday.
