Defending Digicel Fiji Premier League champions Rewa will have to work on their defence if they are to win against Labasa in the opening round at Ratu Cakobau Park, Nausori, on Sunday.
This was the view of Rewa head coach Marika Rodu after they recently lost the Pillay Garment’s Champion verses Champion series title to Suva.
“It is always tough to play against Labasa,” Rodu said.
“We know they have been prepared and will be stronger. We will work on our defence. We gave away two goals in the match against Suva. We also need to control the game.”
