Oilei, na makubuqu, (Oh, my grandson).

These were the wailing words of a grandmother on after learning that her grandson had died from a horrific road accident along the Queens Road, near Veisari, Lami on Saturday afternoon.

Unaisi Dimainalovo described her 11-year-old grandson Joseva Kawa Toutou as friendly and kind.

“It hurts. I did not know that my grandson would be taken from me at an early age. I raised him since he was six months old and I have never regretted it,” Ms Dimainalovo said.
