“One of the conditions imposed by the Parliament in relation to my suspension from Parliament is that I apologise to the Fijian public. It is in this context that I apologise to the Fijian public. Thank you.” Mr Bainimarama said.

Suspended Leader of Opposition, Voreqe Bainimarama last night apologised to the Fijian public for comments made during his response to the President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere’s speech.
He criticised the President for failing the Fijian people and failure to uphold the Constitution.
The apology was posted on the FijiFirst Facebook page. The page has a following of 134,000 plus.
