The Labasa women’s football team is fired up as they look forward to facing Suva this weekend in the opening round of the 2023 Digicel Women’s Super League at Subrail Park.

The Labasa women’s football team is fired up as they look forward to facing Suva this weekend in the opening round of the 2023 Digicel Women’s Super League at Subrail Park.

“Bad weather has been hindering our coming together to train,” trainer and technical officer Arthur Simmons said.

“We started training on Monday, they are determined to win and are working hard to achieve that,” he said.

Moving forward, Simmons is putting in a strategy to have the women side retain their standing.
