Win In Auckland Is A Good Start: Evans
Swire Shipping Fijian Drua chief executive officer Mark Evans hopes the Fijian Drua will start on a high in their opener against Moana Pasifika at Mount Smart Stadium on Saturday.
At the sponsorship extension announcement with Paradise Beverages in Suva yesterday, Evans indicated that the team will miss a few players including halfback Simione Kuruvuli who is injured, however, the Drua has prepared well in the pre-season.
He said that they would not rely on the results of the trial matches where Drua won 24-0 against Melbourne Rebels and 48-38 against Western Force last Saturday.
