Prime Minister Sitiveni Rabuka last night urged all Fijians to always safeguard the interest of the Pacific leaders today and beyond.

He did not mince his words when the presented ai tatau during the Pacific Islands Forum Special Leaders Retreat traditional ceremony of welcome at the Sheraton Fiji Golf Resort and Spa.

A matanigasau was presented by the Fijian government as all PIF leaders, development partners were all present to mark the event themed: Reflection, Renewal, Celebration.

Mr Rabuka apologised on behalf the Fijian people for steps undertaken by Fiji that may have hurt the Pacific community.
