‘Unbearable’
The pain of losing a promising young and talented member of the family is never easy.
For grandmother Merewalesi Lesavua, losing her grandson Pasikali Naevo “has been unbearable”.
The death of this Fijian Under-20 forward has sent shockwaves in the rugby fraternity. Pasikali, 18, died at the Lautoka Hospital on Sunday morning.
Pasikali’s cousin and Swire Shipping Fijian Drua squad member, Meli Derenalagi, posted his disbelief about the tragic news on Facebook, saying: “Isa (Oh) my brother. This is really painful for me. I had this dream that one day we will play side by side. But God had other plans.”
