Teacher Transfer Cannot Be Refused, Assistant Minister Vanawalu Confirms
If a teacher who served more than six years and was informed by the Ministry of Education about their transfer to another school, he or she cannot refuse.

If a teacher who served more than six years and was informed by the Ministry of Education about their transfer to another school, he or she cannot refuse.
Ministry of Education Iliesa Vanawalu confirmed this during an interview with regards to reactivating teacher transfer policy at Labasa Sangam (SKM) College last week.
He said the ministry worked by policies. “Before, teachers were unwilling to co-operate with terms and conditions. But now this won’t be the situation,” Mr Vanawalu said.
