If you don’t have the exhibit, you do injustice.

Minister for Home Affairs Pio Tikoduadua made these remarks in Nadi when questioned on the missing exhibits from the hands of Police at the Nadi Police Station.

Nadi Police had been under the spotlight after exhibits went missing from the station which included $19,000 cash and a vehicle key which was seized from a drug raid case.

Mr Tikoduadua started his tour in the Western Division with the Nadi Police Station on Friday, also visiting the new complex. The minister visited the new room where the exhibits would be kept as well as the current building which is occupied by the officers.

“It is also the state of how they are kept. They need to go to a more secure location. Exhibits are important to prosecute a case,” Mr Tikoduadua said.
