Fijiana Must Score Big Win To Keep Hopes Alive

The Fiji Airways Fijiana women’s rugby sevens side need to register a big win over Colombia today if they are qualify for the Cup quarterfinal, as the third best placed team.
This was the Rusila Nagasau captained-side suffered a shock 26-24 defeat to Great Britain in their Pool A opener, this morning.
Poor tackling by the Fijians saw them blow away a 10-5 lead at halftime and soon after that extended it to 17-5.
Ana Maria Naimasi scored two tries as well as Reapi Ulunisau. The Brits ran in three second half converted tries to grab the win.
The Fijiana side faces Colombia at 12.14pm.

Australia 26-7 Japan, France 33-14 Spain, Fiji 24-26 Great Britain, New Zealand 60-0 Colombia, Ireland 28-7 Canada, USA 20-7 Brazil.
