Couple Receives Best Farmer Award

A former teacher and his wife, received the Best Farmer award during the Fiji Rice Pte Limited President’s awards last weekend.
Rishi Ram and Mere Vakalele, who were among the ten awardees, delivered 43.361 tonnes of rice to Fiji Rice Pte Limited’s mill in Dreketi, Macuata during the 2021 to 2022 fiscal year.
Mr Ram, who is from Naibulu, Dreketi, expressed his delight in receiving the award from the President, Ratu Wiliame Katonivere.
