The lack of sporting facilities has been one of the key issues faced by minority sports like badminton.
This was the view of Badminton Fiji president Barry Whiteside during the annual sports conference at the Harbour Point Convention Centre in Lami on Saturday.
“Badminton does not have a specific facility so we relying on using facilities of the Fiji Sports Council and schools if we can in Suva; certainly, there are no badminton facility in the West,” he said.
