Competition On For No. 7 Jumper At World Cup

Competition for the Flying Fijians openside flanker’s berth to this year’s Rugby World Cup in France, is getting tougher.
Joining the race for the No.7 jumper is Masivesi Dakuwaqa, after a sterling performance for Montpellier in their 34-6 win over Clermont in the Top 14 clash on Saturday.
Dakuwaqa stood his ground in the encounter as he clashed with Clermont No.8 Peceli Yato. Veteran Levani Botia continues to shine at No.7 and scored a try in La Rochelle’s 36-32 win over Pau.
Also on the list for the No.7 spot in rising Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s Kitione Salawa after a Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific’s Player of the Match performance against the Waratahs over the weekend.
