The Fijian Government is awaiting reports from its counterparts in Vanuatu following the national disaster that struck, devastated the island nation over the weekend.

Acting Prime Minister and Minister for Trade, Co-operatives, Small and Medium Enterprises and Communications Manoa Kamikamica revealed this during the opening of the “Pacific Week of Agriculture and Forestry” (PWAF) at the Sofitel Spa Fiji Resort, Denarau yesterday.

This is after Vanuatu declared a state of emergency after two tropical cyclones and two earthquakes hit the nation in under a week.
