Fijians working in Australia under the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility (PALM) scheme will be deported if they find other employment apart from what they are contracted for.
According to the Minister for Employment, Agni Deo Singh, there were no other options available for them.
The ministry has noted “occasional” employment breaches and will consider returning the workers back home.
