2023 Super W Season Launched In Sydney
The Buildcorp Super W competition was launched in Sydney on Wednesday coinciding with International Women’s Day, with the captains from all six Super Rugby Clubs across Australia and Fiji gathered to officially launch the 2023 season.
The reigning champions, the Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua – who made history last year as the first overseas team to compete in the Buildcorp Super W competition, has returned for a second season and are looking to build on their impressive debut.
Runners-up in 2022, the NSW Waratahs are again stocked with Wallaroos aiming to put the experience that they gained at last year’s Rugby World Cup to good use.
