Troops Prepare For Vanuatu Deployment

Thirty-six soldiers from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) will be deployed to Vanuatu to assist in recovery efforts post-Severe Tropical Cyclone (STC) Judy and STC Kevin last week.
During their farewell at the Blackrock Camp in Nadi, RFMF Land Force Commander Brigadier-General Onisivoro Covunisaqa reminded the soldiers of the importance of their duty in assisting the people of Vanuatu.
The troops underwent training at the Blackrock Camp before their departure.
