Salaseini Ready To Take On Challenges
Jasper Williams Primary School head girl Salaseini Tanivula is ready to face the challenges associated with her new role.
She said being the deputy head girl last year had given her confidence.
Salaseini was badged alongside co-head girl Nishika Krishna and deputy head girls Claudia Sisaro and Abigail Choy during the school’s prefects induction ceremony on Friday.
The four will be tasked with leading the school’s 112 prefects to help the teachers and school administration in overseeing the student body.
“There might be a lot of responsibilities, but I am sure that I will be able to manage. I was a school prefect in Year Six, but I wasn’t expecting to be the deputy head girl,” she said.
Co-head girl Nishika Krishna said she was aware that her role was to assist the school and not place herself above other students.
