Claudius Retains Marist Inter House Title

Claudius successfully defended its title to retain the Marist Brothers High School inter-house at the HFC Bank Stadium yesterday (Saturday, March 11, 2023).
According to Physical Education, Music, Art and Craft (PEMAC) head of department Penaia Qalituraga performance that stood out was a combination of old athletes and new ones giving their best for their houses.
51 events were contested and 153 medals were at stake for the Kaunikuila athletes.
“For us going to the inter-zone on Week 10 is not something new, we have our new coach Antonio Rabouliku assisted by the specified coaches who are going to train the athletes,” Qalituraga said.
Claudius bagged 26 gold, 16 silver and 16 bronze to tally 58 medals in the one day meet.
Second was Augustine who was leading in the first half of the day; they scooped 14 gold, four silver and 13 to bring its total number of medals to 31.
Third Alphonsus bagged more medals but collected seven gold, 18 silver and 14 bronze for its 39 medals.
Lambert finished fourth with four gold, 13 silver and 8 bronze for its total 25 medals.
