A security officer at Labasa Town suffered injuries after he was allegedly assaulted by a group of men last Wednesday.
The men were allegedly under the influence of alcohol.
Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro said an investigation was underway and efforts to arrest the suspects continued.
The issue of drunkards seen at Labasa Town at night and early morning has been an ongoing matter.
