Need To Transform Pacific Agriculture, Minister Notes
There is a need for Government to work with other Pacific Island countries to transform agriculture and forestry through research.
Minister for Fisheries and Forestry, Kalaveti Vodo Ravu made these remarks during the Third Joint Pacific Ministers of Agriculture and Forestry meeting at the Sofitel Fiji Resort and Spa last week.
Mr Ravu said a meeting of ministers was always an important part of the Pacific Week of Agriculture and Forestry.
“Our Government has continued its commitment to work with other Pacific Island countries as we transform Pacific agriculture and forestry through research,” he said.
