Labour Party leader has his wires crossed and is playing politics with the lives of poor people.
This was what the Assistant Minister for Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation Sashi Kiran said in response to Fiji Labour Party (FLP) leader Mahendra Chaudhry’s press release statement.
In a press release, Mr Chaudhry said FLP was shocked by the statement Ms Kiran said at a National Federation Party (NFP) meeting in Rakiraki last Sunday that “many” of the 96,000 recipients of the State’s social welfare allowance should not be getting it.
