Trade Advisor Strives To Upgrade Qualification

Sheer determination has allowed Asesh Vikash Chand, 33, to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Entrepreneurship and Management from the Fiji National University.
The Investment Fiji’s regional development and trade advisor was the only one to graduate from this programme among the 126 who graduated from FNU at Civic Centre in Labasa yesterday.
Originally from Aukoro, Namuka in Macuata Province’s rural farming community, Mr Chand also has a story to tell.
He remembers how he had to walk two hours from Lagalaga Primary School to reach home at 5pm.
