Government has today revoked the No Jab, no job policy.

Attorney-General and Minister for Justice Siromi Turaga made the announcement in a press conference this afternoon.

Mr Turaga has also confirmed that restrictions that prohibited unvaccinated people from entering houses of worship has been lifted.

In July 2021, former Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama had announced the policy whereby civil servants would be dismissed from their work if they had refused to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

The policy also extended to the private sector in 2021, in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act.
