Pursuing her studies online while teaching her students remotely during the Covid-19 pandemic has paid off for Priyanka Kishore.
The Sigatoka District School teacher, 25, graduated with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education from the Fiji National University in Suva last week.
Her achievement is a milestone for the Bilalevu, Valley road family who live in the heart of the Nadroga Navosa province.
“I sacrificed a lot during the days of COVID-19 when I had to attend zoom classes through online mode and living in the valley network was an issue.”
She began her Postgraduate programme in 2021.
