Law was not a career choice for 25-year-old Alifereti Ledua Takalaivuna, but he stood tall and proud among his family members as a lawyer after his Admission to the Bar in Suva on Friday.

The Vanuabalavu native is the second eldest of four siblings and was the third in his extended family to become a lawyer.

He said he wanted to join the Republic of the Fiji Military Forces (RFMF) and law was not in the list of career choices for him.
