A series of workshops will ensue this year in efforts to upskill and retain accountants around the country, it has been revealed.
The Fiji Institute of Chartered Accountants gathered at the weekend where discussions included the loss of skilled workers to the New Zealand and Australian market.
The most recent count showed 100 accountants exiting the local professional scene in the past four months.
