The Swire Shipping Fijian Drua’s failure to stay focused in the first half resulted in their 27-24 loss to the Reds at the Suncorp Stadium in Brisbane, last night.
This was pointed out by captain, Meli Derenalagi who indicated the result would have been different if they had been focused right from the opening whistle.
“At halftime we were told to give our all and play quick balls but this is all part of our learnings,” he said.
The Reds led 12-3 at halftime with two tries to centre Josh Flook.
