Swire Shipping Fijian Drua captain, Meli Derenalagi, was spot on with his assessment of their 27-24 loss to the Reds in Brisbane, Australia, last Sunday.
Derenalagi said it was their lack of focus in the first half that gave the Reds the upper hand and the hosts enjoyed a 12-3 lead at halftime.
Lack of focus saw the Fijians taking wrong options, committed basic mistakes and missed try scoring opportunities.
“At halftime we were told to give our all and play quick balls but this is all part of our learnings,” Derenalagi said.
