Prosecution Given Time To File Copies Of Disclosures

The High Court in Lautoka has granted state lawyer Unal Dev Lal more time to provide eligible copies of disclosures in a murder case involving the couple Mohammed Naushad and Nazreen Nisha Khan.

Naushad and his wife Khan are each charged with one count of murder while Naushad faces an additional charge of one count of criminal intimidation.

On June 30, 2022, at Maro, Sigatoka, the couple allegedly forced an 18-year-old student to ingest a chemical.

The matter was heard before Judge Justice Riyaz Hamza yesterday. The couple was represented by Anil Prasad of Iqbal Khan and Associates.
