Legal Aid Commission lawyer Alanieta Bilivalu told the High Court in Lautoka that murder accused Samisoni Vurumatana would be relying on a defence of insanity.
Vurumatana, 36, of Dreketi Settlement in Nalawa, Ra, is facing a charge of murder
He is alleged to have murdered a 28-year-old man whose body was discovered on the afternoon of January 31, 2022 at the settlement.
The matter was heard before Judge Justice Sunil Sharma. Rukalesi Uce appeared for the prosecution.
