Government Ministers should be free to express their views, but within limitations, says Acting Permanent Secretary to the Office of the Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs, Peter Wise.

Over the weekend, Attorney-General Siromi Turaga was criticised online for personal postings he made on the official A-G Facebook page showing a selfie of himself travelling to Los Angeles in business class, promoting his religious belief and posting about his personal life (See INSET).

When questioned whether there was a social media policy for Government, Mr Wise said he was not aware and referred queries to the director communications, Izek Lal.
