The Pacific Recycling Foundation and Waste Recyclers Fiji Limited (WRFL) is an active voice for informal waste pickers.
This message was shared by the RRF Founder and the Chief Executive Officer of WRFL, Amitesh Deo during the Global Recycling Day 2023 symposium held at the Sheraton Golf Fiji Beach Resort last Saturday.
Mr Deo said they always highlighted the human aspect of waste management and the deeply rooted stigma attached to waste picking.
