A lot rests on the shoulders of Swire Shipping Fijian Drua tighthead prop, Samuela Tawake, when he and the Drua face the Highlanders in today’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific clash in Dunedin.

The 26-year-old faces the man who is now regarded as the All Blacks’ top loosehead prop, Ethan de Groot. De Groot, has been the powerhouse of the Highlanders scrum, as the Super Rugby team stats revealed that after Round 4, they have won 90 per cent of their scrums – putting them to the top of the list.

The Drua is in fourth spot with 83 per cent.  Tawake, who was groomed by veteran Manasa Saulo, knows that he has to take charge of the front row along with rookie prop Emosi Tuqiri and hooker Tevita Ikanivere.

The match kicks off at 3.35pm.
